Second round of commissioning, NLDC capital - deadline 4th February 08

A second commissioning round for Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities (NLDC) funding has been launched due to an underspend in the Capital allocation of 60,000.

If you would like to bid for this capital funding, the commissioning prospectus and application form are available on the Learning Partnership website www.bradfordlearningpartnership.org.uk

Funding is available for specification NLDC/B5 because of an underspend. NLDC/B5 - Project: Improving the Community Learning Infrastructure. Capital investment under this specification should lead to an increase in the number/ capacity of local VCS centres to provide community based learning opportunities, through physical improvements and/ or the upgrading of the existing learning environment. Grants will be between 5,000 to 10,000. You will find further information on pages 14 & 15 of the commissioning prospectus.

Deadline for bids is 12.00 noon Monday 4th February 2008

Successful applicants will be informed by Friday 8th February. Please note that electronic tenders will not be accepted and the detailed do's and don'ts on page 19 are essential reading before you submit a tender.
