Connexions Capacity Build Fund 2007 - closing date 28 November


The Connexions Capacity Building Fund was set up to enable voluntary and community organisations working with young people in the Connexions age group in the Metropolitan District of Bradford to overcome obstacles to the development of the organisation in relation to the Connexions Strategy.

Applications are now open to the fund from Voluntary and Community Sector organisations working with young people between the ages of 13yrs to 19yrs (up to 25yrs for organisations working with learners with a disability).

There are three categories of infrastructure building activity that can be considered for funding through this grant.

1 - Developing structures and processes
2 - Developing skills
3 - Developing infrastructure and support

Between 500 to 5000 is available per organisation.

The closing date for receipt of applications is 12.00 noon, Wednesday 28th November 2007 and to aid with applications a workshop is being held at the CNet offices on 2nd November 2007 at. 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m, it is advisable that all interested groups attend.
