BREIG funding launch 23rd October


Funded by Yorkshire Forward through the Business Resource Efficiency and Waste Programme (BREW) - see previous FAN post - the Business Resource Efficiency Improvement Grants (BREIG) Programme will be launched on the 23rd October. The launch will take place at the Round Foundry Media Centre, Leeds (for directions see http://www.roundfoundry.net/default.asp?id=49) on the 23rd October 2007 at 4pm - 6.30pm (a light buffet and refreshments will be provided).

The workshop will help businesses understand the scheme, its purposes and its processes from application to final review of the project.

There are two types of funding available:
1) Capital Grants to purchase equipment which will reduce a business's waste, energy and/or water usage.

2) Consultancy Grants to assist businesses in engaging with a specialist to advise or help with projects
to improve resource efficiency.

As funding advisors in the district, if you are working with businesses who would benefit from the BREIG programme, please ask groups to provide some detail of each application in the format below and email to sam.saxby@yfmgroup.co.uk and a member of staff will contact them to discuss their application.
