Community Wellbeing Fund- Small grants for children's projects - deadline 28 September


There is an opportunity for all projects, groups and organisations working with children and young people to apply for a grant of up to 1,500.

This funding is part of the Bradford Children's Fund allocation.

Proposals will need to demonstrate how they contribute to the Every Child Matters Outcomes. Preference will be given to those projects that focus on the following areas:

* Diversion from criminal activity
* Raising self esteem
* Improving skills, confidence and emotional wellbeing

The group, project or organisation does not have to deliver on all of these target areas to be eligible to apply for this funding.

The timescales for this funding are very short. The deadline is Friday 28th September 2007. The activity / project must have finished and all the money must be spent by 31st March 2008.
