Community Care Fund for Older People, deadline 26 October

Age Concern and Help the Aged have once again joined forces with Bradford Metropolitan District Council Adult Services to offer grants of up to 500 for smaller voluntary organisations that work with older people.

Money is still available to offer a second round of applications (although funding is limited). Applications can be made for help with activities that promote the health and wellbeing of older people. These could include:

  • start-up costs for new groups
  • equipment
  • provision of information
  • expansion into new activities to be run by existing groups
  • activities which involve new members

Grants will not be awarded for:

  • continuation funding
  • activities/ services which this grant has previously supported
  • trips, outings, food or parties
  • retrospective payments
