West Yorkshire Police Community Trust grants, deadline 26 August

The West Yorkshire Police Community Trust grant round is now open. The theme for this grant round is "projects/ activities that address policing pledge priorities identified by local communities".

The priorities for the Neighbourhood Policing Team areas are very specific - see http://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/files/docs/Local_Priorities_By_NPT_Area_10_July_2009.pdffor details. Groups should check these carefully before deciding whether to apply. Applications without an endorsement and supporting comments by the neighbourhood policing team will not be considered. Their contact details are available from www.westyorkshire.police.uk/npt or via your local Police Station.

Voluntary and community groups in West Yorkshire can apply for small grants for activities that meet the policing pledge priorities identified by local communities. Most grants made by the Trust are for less than 1,000.

The deadline for applications is 26 August.
