Community grants, WYLC, next deadline 6 March

Grants of between 2,000 and 12,000 are available for small voluntary and community organisations in Yorkshire and the Humber that provide learning opportunities, which help unemployed people aged 18+ move closer towards a job or training. For this fund, "small" means having 9 or less full time equivalent employees and a turnover of under 300,000 per year.

Organisations that have previously received ESF funds should refer to the application guidelines for more information on eligibility.

Community grants are targeted at the following priority groups:

  • People with disabilities and health conditions
  • Lone parents
  • People aged 50 and over
  • People from BME communities

The grant programme is funded by the Learning and Skills Council through the European Social Fund (ESF). The local delivery partner for Community Grants in West Yorkshire is West Yorkshire Learning Consortium (WYLC).

For further information, guidance notes and an application form visit the WYLC website www.wylc.org.uk

For any further enquiries, please email communitygrants@wylc.org.uk

Groups can apply at any time and there are regular deadlines (approximately every 8 weeks) for assessing bids. The next deadline is 6 March.
